How does CityD do it?
1. Intake interview with Local Economy department, Town and Country Planning department, with the mayor and traders association(s) and representatives 2. Area delimitation 3. Survey among traders located in the city centre area 4. Interactive debates with traders: – to determine the joint centre vision, ambitions and objectives, organizational structure, desirability of centre-strengthening contributions… – to draw up a centre management business plan 5. Processing feedback from debates, drawing up a centre management format 6. Interim consultation with the municipality/city, setting up a framework and road map including actions, financing, organizational form, delimitation of the core shopping area 7. Elaboration of a Centre Management Road map giving information on action plans, detailed organizational model with method of implementation and follow-up, financing mechanism, declaration of commitment and cooperation agreement 8. Presentation of services and policy in a final report and final delimitation 9. Communication support for traders through presentations and newsletters
